FAQ
How do I care for my jewelry? Please be gentle & kind to your jewelry. Clean carefully with a soft cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals and please avoid getting it wet. We suggest storing it in a box or an airtight bag to prevent tangling, tarnishing or losing stones.
How old are the pieces? Pieces are typically at least 70 years old and range from the late 1800s to the 1950s. Some pieces will show wear commensurate with their age and are sold in as-is condition.
Victorian (1837 - 1901)
Art Nouveau (1890 - 1920)
Edwardian (1901 - 1910)
Art Deco (1920s + 1930s)
Retro (1940s + 1950s)
How do you find your pieces? We spend a lot of time scouring the globe for special, one-of-a-kind pieces at estate sales + antique fairs. Slight imperfections give the jewelry its distinct look. Our collection of redesigned jewelry is completely unique & exclusive – you will not see anyone else wearing an identical piece.
How often do you get new pieces? Since these beautiful historic designs are all handcrafted with unique and sometimes-rare components, selection is very limited and inventory is unpredictable. All necklaces, earring and bracelets are one-of-a-kind designs.
What are the types of metal used in the chain and pendant pieces? Brass, pewter or pot metal.
How are the items shipped? USPS First Class mail unless otherwise instructed. Insurance and additional shipping carriers are also available on request. All packages are wrapped securely and packaged to perfection.
What forms of payment do you take? We gladly accept all major credit cards via PayPal.
When will my order ship? All orders will ship within 7 business days. Arrival times will vary by destination, typically 3 - 5 days.
Do you accept returns? We are happy to offer exchanges within 14 days of purchase. We believe the piece “finds you” and we want you to be 100% in love with it. Because the belts are custom-fitted, there are no returns on belts. The engraved items are non-refundable.
Do you make repairs? Yes, but please let the jewelry be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. We suggest not pulling your hair through the piece to put on. We are happy to always add new stones (if available) in case one falls out.
Can the chain length be adjusted? Most of the necklaces allow for this. However, some are specifically designed to be shorter and others longer. The lengths typically vary from 14 - 18 inches (or longer). Many pieces can be layered.
Do you host Trunk Shows? Yes! You invite the guests, we'll bring the wares! These are the best times to see and try on the pretties in person.
How long have you been in business? We started creating our special wares in 2006.
